This poster takes advantage of the loaded words technique that is shown through the words “Strike” and “now”, which are meant to stop the Americans from entering Vietnam. This poster is presumably targeted towards the Americans in Vietnam getting ready to fight for their lives, meaning that this poster is opposing the war and wanting some peace in the nation. Strike has a connotation of warning, which makes sure that the Americans are paying attention, and now appeals to the Americans through the sense of urgency.
